Prof. Pingyi Fan

Tsinghua University, China

Dr. Pingyi Fan is a professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University. He received Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1994. From 1997 to 1999, he visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Delaware in the United States. He also visited many universities and research institutes in the United States, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. He has obtained many research grants, including national 973 Project, 863 Project, mobile special project and the key R&D program, national natural funds and international cooperation projects. He has published more than 190 SCI papers (more than 130 IEEE journals), and 4 academic books. He also applied for more than 30 national invention patents, 5 international patents and. He won seven best paper awards of international conferences, including IEEE ICC2020 and Globecom 2014, and received the best paper award of IEEE TAOS Technical Committee in 2020, the excellent editor award of IEEE TWC (2009), etc. He has served as the editorial board member of several Journals, including IEEE and MDPI. He is currently the editorial board member of Open Journal of Mathematical Sciences, the deputy director of China Information Theory society, the co-chair of China's 6G-ANA TG4, and the chairman of Network and Communication Technology Committee of IEEE ChinaSIP. His current research interests are in 6G wireless communication network and machine learning, semantic information theory and generalized information theory, big data processing theory, intelligent network and system detection, etc.

Prof. Xiangjie Kong

Zhejiang University of Technology, China

Dr. Xiangjie Kong is currently a Full Professor in the College of Computer Science & Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), China. Previously, he was an Associate Professor in School of Software, Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China, where he was the Head of the Department of Cyber Engineering. He is the Founding Director of City Science of Social Computing Lab (The CSSC Lab) (http://cssclab.cn/). He is/was on the Editorial Boards of 6 International journals. He has served as the General Co-Chair, Workshop Chair, Publicity Chair or Program Committee Member of over 30 conferences. Dr. Kong has authored/co-authored over 160 scientific papers in international journals and conferences including IEEE TKDE, ACM TKDD, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, IEEE NETW, IEEE COMMUN MAG, IEEE TVT, IEEE IOJ, IEEE TSMC, IEEE TETC, IEEE TASE, IEEE TCSS, WWWJ, etc.. 5 of his papers is selected as ESI- Hot Paper (Top 1‰), and 18 papers are ESI-Highly Cited Papers (Top 1%). His research has been reported by Nature Index and other medias. He has been invited as Reviewers for numerous prestigious journals including IEEE TKDE, IEEE TMC, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TII, IEEE IOTJ, IEEE COMMUN MAG, IEEE NETW, IEEE TITS, TCJ, JASIST, etc.. Dr. Kong has authored/co-authored three books (in Chinese). He has contributed to the development of 14 copyrighted software systems and 20 filed patents. He has an h-index of 40 and i10-index of 100, and a total of more than 5800 citations to his work according to Google Scholar. He is named in the2019 and 2020 world’s top 2% of Scientists List published by Stanford University. Dr. Kong received IEEE Vehicular Technology Society 2020 Best Land Transportation Paper Award, and The Natural Science Fund of Zhejiang Province for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has been invited as Keynote Speaker at 2 international conferences, and delivered a number of Invited Talks at international conferences and many universities worldwide. His research interests include big data, network science, and computational social science. He is a Distinguished Member of CCF, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Full Member of Sigma Xi, and a Member of ACM.

Prof. Nick Freris   

University of Science and Technology of China (USTC)

Nick Freris  is Professor in the School of Computer Science at USTC, and Vice Dean of the International College. He received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2005, and the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the M.S. degree in Mathematics, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2007, 2008, and 2010, respectively. His research lies in AIoT/CPS/IoT: machine learning, distributed optimization, data mining, wireless networks, control, and signal processing, with applications in power systems, sensor networks, transportation, cyber security, and robotics. Dr. Freris has published several papers in high-profile conferences and journals held by IEEE, ACM, and SIAM and holds three patents. His research has been sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Anhui Dept. of Science and Technology, Tencent, and NSF, and was recognized with the National High-level Talent award, the USTC Alumni Foundation Innovation Scholar award, and the IBM High Value Patent award. Previously, he was with the faculty of NYU and, before that, he held senior researcher and postdoctoral researcher positions at EPFL and IBM Research,respectively. Dr. Freris is a Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and a member of CCF and SIAM.

Prof.Zhikui Chen

Dalian University of Technology, China

Dr. Zhikui Chen, professor and doctoral supervisor of Dalian University of technology since November 2007, director of big data Research Institute of Dalian University of technology. Research direction: big data and artificial intelligence. 1998-2007 engaged in scientific research on network and data computing in Hong Kong Baptist University, French Institute of automation, University of Stuttgart, Germany. National projects in recent five years: National key R & D project, Key technology research for cross domain case filing and collaboration among professional courts (2018YFC083130020, 18.7.1-2021.6.30, with a total funding of 11.15 million yuan); National key R & D program, Source apportionment and pollution characteristics of heavy metals in farmland and agricultural products (2016YFD08030202016.1.1-2020.12.31);Key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (technical director), research on management analysis and mining of multi-source heterogeneous big data for "three old" transformation (u13012532014.1-2017.12); Two general projects of NSFC, research on adaptive depth computing model for land resource feature learning (61672123), Research on few-shots cross-modal learning model for interpretation of land utilization status data (62076047), 2021 / 01-2024 / 12.

Academic achievements and contributions in recent five years: A series of big data computing theories and algorithms as well as artificial intelligence technology have been created, a big data algorithm library platform has been developed, and an artificial intelligence computing platform has been constructed, which has been applied in engineering practice. Published more than 100 academic papers and more than 50 SCI retrieved journals. 20 invention patents have been applied and 13 have been authorized. Four software copyrights were issued and three books were published. One special award, first award and second award of science and technology progress of Geographic Information Association in 2020,2018,2016; One third award of Huaxia Construction Science and technology in 2021.
